Don’t Lose Your Passion pt3.

Main Point: To see a move of God, we must have a passion to answer God’s call for your life.

Foundation Scripture: Romans 11:29. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

Acts 9:1-18. After this conversion, Paul goes on to write 2/3 of the New Testament and begins a Jesus revival that directly has impacted the U.S. church today. You can say, we are ‘road to Damascus’ fruit.

The Calling of God:
-Calling is not a title (like leader or pastor).
-Calling is not a moment.
-Calling is not a feeling.
–The Calling of God for your life is a journey that places you in God’s perfect will day by day.

Pastor’s thoughts:
*My hope and prayer for the church today is that, above all we have passion to be in God’s perfect will.
*A passion to use our gifts and talents in to impact people for God.
*A passion to be where God is.
*It takes ordinary people with a passion to answer God’s calling to see the hand of God move in revival.

Characteristics of one who will not fail or fall from their calling:
2 Peter 1: 5-10.
-Moral excellence (righteousness)
-Knowledge (read God’s word, attend church etc..)
-self-control, (empowered by Holy Spirit)
-perseverance, (commitment to God’s call, passion)
-godliness,
-brotherly kindness,
-love.
