Complete the Kingdom Plan

Dec 19, 2021    Elias Ozuna

Main Point: God always completes his work toward mankind, in Love. This Christmas, as we remember the birth of our Salvation, our Lord, lets complete the Kingdom plan in our lives, because we Love God.

Foundation Scripture:  Philippians 1:6.  He who started the work is faithful to complete it in you.

Pastor's Thoughts:

Today is our Christmas Service.

It is the day we celebrate the birth of our Savior and our Lord. Jesus Christ. It is the birth and resurrection of Jesus that brings hope of eternal life to the world.

The event of ‘Jesus’ birth and death so changed the world that the leaders of that time decided to put a ‘marker’ in history and split mankind’s calendar from B.C to A.D.

To get a clearer picture and insight of the significance of Christ’s birth take a journey with me from the beginning.

The Big Picture of God’s Plan for Mankind

In Genesis 1:1-4.  God created the heavens and the earth and it was good

In Genesis 2:21-24.  God created man and woman.

In Genesis 3:8-13. Mankind sinned and was destined for eternal death.

In Luke 1:27-56.  God plans of a Savior are revealed to Mary.

In Luke 2:1-7.  Jesus is born because God has a plan to redeem the world from eternal death.

In Luke 23:44-46.  Jesus was crucified as the perfect lamb and rose from the dead, so that our sins can be blotted out when we accept Jesus as our Salvation.

In Acts 2:1-4.  The Holy Spirit empowered Christians and led them into all truth as Jesus prophesied.

In Revelations 19:11-16.  Jesus will return and rule and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Now that we have journeyed into God’s plan for mankind; three things are clear

God completes his work

God Loves mankind (men and women) and has provided a way for redemption thru Jesus Christ

Jesus will return

Pastor’s Thoughts:

The challenge I leave you with this Christmas is this: Will you complete the Kingdom plan in your life.

Jesus completed his work because he loved us: Will you complete your work, your Kingdom plan because you love him

When your answer to surrendering to God’s plan for your life is ‘yes’. Then the birth of Jesus Christ is extremely significant and important to us.

Some people celebrate Christmas because of the gifts and family atmosphere, but Christians celebrate Jesus because it is everything. It is life. It is love. It is peace. It is joy. Because Jesus is everything, and he is worthy to be praised.
