The Vision Continues Even in Chaos: Chaos Series Part 2
Main Point: The Vision that God has given his people does not change because of chaos. The Vision is alive and well.
The bible says in Proverbs 29:18. “Where there is no Vision, the people perish.
There are two important points in the passage of scripture:
1. Vision is essential for God’s people.
2. For those who keep the law they will be satisfied.
Pastor’s Thoughts:
-Even in chaos, it is important to never lose sight of the vision God has given us.
-Each one of us has the ability to hear from God. Not in an audible voice necessarily but in a way that is confirmed in your spirit.
The Vision for Hope Community Church:
We will be a lighthouse to the community around us. We will serve the community so people will know that Jesus cares.
Jeremiah 39:1-6. Jerusalem is captured because of the people’s rebellion.
Pastor’s Thoughts:
-But even in this chaos, the vision that God had given Jeremiah and Abraham and Isaac was not destroyed when Jerusalem and eventually the temple was destroyed.
-Even in the chaos, God’s perfect plan would be fulfilled.
-The plans and visions continue despite what we see around us. Let your faith arise because the vision continues even in the chaos.
Other examples in the bible were things did not look good, where things were chaotic but God’s plans/visions happened anyway:
-Jesus died but the salvation plan came to life when Jesus rose from the dead.
-Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers but the vision of Joseph saving his family still came true.
1 Corinthians 2:9-10. God has good things prepared for those that love him. God will reveal the things he as planned for his people by the Spirit.
