The Potter
Main Point of the sermon today is: God is the Potter and we are the clay. Trust God to mold you and shape you into the masterpiece you are destined to become.
Scriptures about the Potter:
- Isaiah 64:8. God is the Potter and we are the clay. We are a work in God’s hand.
- Isaiah 29:16. The clay is not wiser than the Potter. Trust God because he knows all.
Pastor’s Thoughts:
-Letting God be the Potter in your life is not a suggestion. Don’t try to take God’s job. God is good at his job so don’ try to be God and be the Potter of your life.
-Even your weaknesses will bring glory to his name. Trust the potter with your strengths and trust the Potter with your weaknesses.
John 9:1-7. God used a weakness in the blind man to bring glory to his name.
Lesson Learned: This is an important concept that we must accept as Christians in order to let the Potter do his work in us.
Your weaknesses are destined to bring glory to God.
Pastor’s Thoughts:
So Church, let God be the Potter of your life. Don’t let your weaknesses bring you down or hold you in a prison. Be set free in Jesus name.
God is the best potter of all time. You are the clay. The masterpiece in design. Trust him, even in your weakness. Trust him.
God is the Potter and we are the clay. Trust God to mold you and shape you into the masterpiece you are destined to become. AMEN.
