We Need A Move: Part 6- Forgiveness and Judging Others

Oct 13, 2019    Elias Ozuna

Main Point: We need a move of God. Forgive and be careful judging others so

you are ready when God moves through you.

Scriptures on Forgiveness:

Luke 23:34. Jesus led by example. He forgave those killing him.

Ephesians 4:31-32. Do not hold bitterness and anger, be kind because God has forgiven you.

Colossians 3:13. Forgive each other as the Lord has forgiven you.

Matthew 18:21-22. Jesus said, Forgive over and over. 490 times.

It is clear in scripture that God wants us to forgive and forgive often. God knows that forgiveness is good for the soul and for your health.

Scriptures on judging others:

Matthew 7:1-5. Be slow to judge and God will be slow to judge you. Things not always as they seem.

Romans 2:1-3. Do not judge someone else’s heart. Only God knows the heart. Salvation

Matthew 18:15-17. Sin can be judged and if the sinner is made aware and does not repent then a judgement is made and sinner can be thrown out of the church body.

God always returns blessings when we forgive and judge appropriately.

Luke 6:37-42. Whenever you do something for others God will return it.

Pastor Thoughts:

-Do not underestimate the power of Forgiveness. There is peace in forgiveness.

-There are people who don’t even realize that un-forgiveness is keeping them from the calling and blessings of God.

-Being quick to judge others only harms us. Be kind and loving and forgiving.
