Time to Sow

Main Point: Do not be discouraged or in discontent, you will reap

bountifully in God’s perfect timing.

Two reasons people stop sowing faithfully:

1. Discouragement 2. Dissatisfaction or in Discontent of God’s Plan

Scriptures about Sowing:

Proverbs 11:18. A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who

sows righteousness reaps a sure reward."

Luke 6:38; "Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down,

shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the

measure you use it will be measured back to you.

Hosea 10:12; "Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap unfailing love. Break

up the unplowed ground for yourselves, for it is time to seek the Lord, until

he comes and showers deliverance on you."

Galatians 6:7-10. Sow spiritually (righteousness). Do not get weary.

Don’t be discouraged:John 11:17-27. Martha was discouraged that

Jesus had not come sooner, but Jesus is not constrained by time. God can’t

be late.

Don’t be dissatisfied with God’s plan for your life (In Discontent):

Philippians 1:6. God will complete the good work he has planned for you.

Jeremiah 29:11. God has a good plan for you, to bring hope and to prosper

you, not to harm you.

Jonah 1:1-3. Jonah was dissatisfied with God’s plan but that lead to darkness. Surrender your will to God’s will and God will show up

supernaturally and do amazing things.

Be determined to Sow Biblical Principles/Righteousness

2019. You will not be disappointed.
