Pastor Elias Sermon Notes 10-21-18
Time to believe in God’s Promises:

Main Point: God’s promises are true and assured, do not walk timidly. Be strong in faith and hold your head up high, proclaim God’s promises as true.

Opening Scripture: 2 Peter 3:1-13; Revelations 22:12-13

2 Corinthians 1:20 (NIV). “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God”.

Proclaim that God’s promise are true no matter what you see with your eyes.

Two Kinds of Promises I have experienced in my Christian walk:
Biblical Promises. 2. Personal Promises.

Biblical Promises:
Jeremiah 29:11. God has good plans for you.
Matthew 11:23-29. Come to Jesus for rest.
Philippians 4:19. According to his riches in glory, meet all your needs
Isaiah 40:29-31. Those who trust will have wings as eagles
Proverbs 1:33. Those who listen will not fear.
Romans 8:28. All things work together for good.

Personal Promises:
John 10:27. My sheep hear my voice.
John 16:13. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth and show you things to come.

It’s time to believe and proclaim that all God’s promises are true and will come to pass.
