Main Point: Arise into your destiny by making the best of any situation you find yourself in.

Scriptures about making the best of it:

- 1 Peter 4:12-13. Don’t be surprised when fiery trials come, but rejoice knowing that God’s glory will be revealed.

- Ephesians 5:16. Make the most of every opportunity to spread the gospel because evil is ready to strike.

- Colossians 4:5. Make the most of every opportunity to shine your light to the world.

- 1 Peter 5:7-10. Cast all your cares on Jesus, he cares for you. The God of all grace will strengthen you.

- Philippians 4:4-7. Rejoice always in the Lord. Pray for all things giving the Lord thanks and you will be empowered with Peace.

- Isaiah 43:2. When you go thru deep waters, God will be with you.

- Galatians 6:9. Do not get tired of doing good. In due season reap if we do not give up.

Pastor’s thoughts:

- When things are not going as planned, make the best of your situation and trust that God will turn it around.

- The enemy is counting on God’s people giving up when trials come so they will become ineffective witnesses for Christ.

- People who get stronger after every trial have learned to make the best of every situation.

- You will find that arising into your destiny becomes clearer when you trust God thru every storm.

Example of making the best of every situation: Genesis 37-45

- Genesis 37:5-11. Joseph dreams a dream and never forgets it.

- Genesis 37:28. Jospeh’s brother sale Joseph into slavery

- Genesis 39:17. Joseph is accused of rape

- Genesis 39:20. Joseph is sent to prison.

- Because Joseph chose to make the best of every situation God gives him favor, even in prison. Because Joseph doesn’t throw a pity party he eventually is called to interpret the Pharaoh’s dream.

- Because Joseph chose to make the best of every situation he is placed as a ruler of Egypt.

- Because Joseph chose to make the best of every situation he is in perfect position to be used by God to save his people.

- Because Joseph chose to make the best of every situation he arises into his destiny and saves his family.

- Because Joseph chose to make the best of it, Joseph understands that all his suffering was worth it all to be in God’s perfect will.
