Arise into your Destiny- The Wise Recognize God’s Leading

Main Point: Church theme for 2020 is ‘Arise into your Destiny’. God’s will be done in our lives. Ephesians 2:10

Bible Characters known for arising into their destiny.

-David the shepherd into David the King. 1 Samuel 16:1-13.

-Joseph the dreamer to Joseph the ruler in Egypt. Genesis 41:37-41.

-Jacob the deceiver to Israel representing power with God. Genesis 32:27-28.

-Saul the murderer to Paul the Apostle. Acts 9:10-16.

What about all the other people who have lived that have arisen into their destiny but we don’t know their name.

-The prayer warrior who goes sleepless nights in prayer for you.

-The Good Samaritan that unselfishly helps others in need expecting nothing in return.

-The encourager that persuades a hurting soul not to commit suicide.

-The boy with cerebral palsy that turns the youth camp into revival. –True Story…..

Pastor’s thoughts:

--In 2020, let’s arise into our destiny. We are called to good works. To God’s workmanship.

--It is the ones that don’t have name recognition that one day in heaven when God judges all things that the people who ‘Arose into their destiny’ will be known and will be applauded.

--We don’t need any ones recognition and approval except for Jesus, to say I know your name. You belong to me.

--So don’t focus on being known on this earth. Or receiving recognition from men or women. Focus on arising into your destiny according to God’s perfect plan and will for your life.
