- We are not saved because of good deeds (works). We are saved only by our faith in Jesus as our savior and Lord.
- Do not use your freedom to sin, rather use your freedom to serve and love others.
The Holy Spirit brings power for those who walk in the Spirit.
- Galatians 5:24-25. Those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- Acts 1:8. You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.

- Salvation brings freedom from the law and sin and eternal death.
- Walking in the Spirit brings Power (living in Godly principles-9 fruits and God’s Word)
Be Diligent:
- 2 Peter 1:10. Be diligent to show you are called by God.
- 2 Peter 3:14. Be diligent that ye may be found of God in peace, without spot and blameless
- Not perfect just willing to be perfected.
Summary:
- Salvation is a precious gift paid for by Jesus on the cross.
- Freedom belongs to all who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord
- The Holy Spirit empowers and leads us into the righteousness of God. (As you grow you become more Christ-like)
