Trust God in all Things

Main Point:  The Word of God shows us who we are as Christians even though we sometimes don’t believe or fully understand.  Trust God in all things.  God has good plans.

Scriptures about Christians (Trust it)
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17:"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" (Trust it)
  • Galatians 2:20: "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Trust it)
  • Ephesians 4:24: and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." (Trust it)
  • Romans 8:28: All things work together for good (Trust it)
  • Romans 8:37: You are more than a conqueror (Trust it)
  • 1 Corinthians 2:9: Eye hath not seen hear has not heard (Trust it)

Pastor’s Thoughts:
  • Our circumstances, whether good or bad, do not determine who we are in Christ.
  • The truth written in God’s word has determined who we are in Christ.
  • Trust that God is good and your steps are directed by God (Psalm 37:23)
  • God’s ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9)

God is always Just even when we don’t understand it.
Matthew 20:1-16.  What seems unfair in this parable is just in the eyes of God because it is God’s will that no one perish as stated in 2 Peter 3:9.

Summary:
  • Abraham trusted God and is the reason why he is known as the father of faith.
  • Regardless of your circumstances trust God.
  • We are children of the most high.  Trust God.
  • We believe in prayer and believe God hears us.  Trust God.
  • Even in trial we will Trust God.
  • God’s word reveals who we are as Christians. Trust God.
  • The victories will come.  Trust God in all things and in any circumstance.
