God Knows You

Main Point:  God Knows You.  No matter what we see with our eyes, the fact that God knows us and loves us and wants the best for us never changes.

Foundation Scripture:
Jeremiah 29:11.  God knows you.

Pastor Thoughts:
  • God Knows You
  • God wants the best for you
  • God knows what is best for you.  He designed you.
  • All things that come from God are designed for your good.o Even the things you don’t understand

Scripture of Zacchaeus and the Rich man:
Luke 19:1-10.
  • Zacchaeus encounters the acceptance and love of Jesus and salvation comes to his house.
  • Zacchaeus declares he will reimburse those that he cheated and would give half of his wealth to the poor.

Matthew 19:16-22.
  • Jesus asked the rich man to sell his possessions and give to the poor
  • Why did the rich man have to give up all his riches but Zacchaeus did not have to give up all his riches?
  • God knows the heart
  • God knows you

Pastors Thoughts:
  • What may seem not fair or unjust to us never means God is not justice and righteousness
  • God’s ways are higher than our ways.  Isaiah 55:8-9.

Parable of the laborers:

Matthew 20:1-16.
This parable shows how God is always justice, even if we don’t understand it
God’s ways are higher than our ways.  (This mindset requires trust that God is always good).

Pastor’s Thoughts:
  • So knowing that God is justice and righteousness and that he knows you and loves you
    • Then our response as God’s people is to trust God in all things.
      • Trust and Obey.

This is faith.  We trust God is good and He knows us and wants the best for us.

Summary:
  • No matter what I see with my eyes, I know God knows me and loves me.
  • I know that God is justice and righteousness
  • As Christians who trust God in the good times and bad, we can have confidence that when God is Lord-first place in our hearts that God is in control and the victories are ahead.
  • God knows you and loves you and wants the best for you.  Trust it and expect God to intervene on your behalf.
