Never Stop Praying

Main Point: Prayer is our way of communicating with God.  Never stop praying regardless of circumstances.
 
Foundation Scripture:  Ephesians 3:14-21.  God is able to do exceedingly abundantly all that we ask or think.  Trust him through the actions of prayer.

• v17. Be rooted and grounded in Love.  Love is everything.
• Your prayer life must be rooted and grounded in love for God and others.

What is Prayer.

• Prayer is not how we get what we want.
  • James 4:3. Do not ask for selfish reasons.  Ask according to God’s will and for the glory of God’s Kingdom.
• Prayer is how we communicate with God to bring into existence Godly outcomes and victories.
  • If supernatural intervention is needed, God is able.
  • If a miracle is needed, God is able.

The Lord’s Prayer.  Matthew 6:9-13.

• Acknowledge who God is: “Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed by the name”.
• Desire God’s will: “Kingdom come, they will be done on earth as it is in heaven”.
• Petition your needs: “Give us this day our daily bread.”
• Request forgiveness and forgive others: “And forgive or debts as we forgive our debtors”
• Request victory over enemy: “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”
• Acknowledge the Glory of our God: “For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the Glory, forever”

How to Pray.

• Pray without Ceasing: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
• Pray with a sincere heart: Hebrews 10:22
• Pray in accordance to God’s will:  1 John 5:14
• Pray in the Spirit:  Ephesians 6:18
• Pray in Secret: Matthew 6:6

Who can Pray effectively.
James 5:16. The prayer of the righteous man availeth much

Never Stop Praying.
Luke 18:1-8.

• Keep praying regardless of circumstances.  God hears you.
• Think through how your prayer will bring Glory to God’s Kingdom and pray accordingly.
• God loves you and hears you and will answer on Kingdom time.
