Main Point:  As we pursue his presence, pass the torch, and possess the land for God’s Kingdom, the result will be a lasting genuine move of God setting people free into the joy of his salvation.

Foundation to a lasting Move of God

• Pursue His Presence (Exodus 33:7-16)
  • Prayer, worship, church, bible study, serving others)
• Pass the Torch (Numbers 27:15-19)
  • Lead the younger generation to a genuine experience with God.
• Possess the Land (Numbers 13:30-33; 14:1-9)
  • Expand the reach of God’s impact in your environment (city, family, work, friends, etc..)

 
Pastor Thoughts:

• The camp experience feeds into all these three topics (Presence, Passing the torch, Possessing the Land)
  • Tangible Presence of the Lord, future leaders experiencing the overflow of God’s presence.
• Hope Community Church started in 1936 (89 years ago) (Presence, Passing the torch, Possessing the Land)
• Whether the camp experience or our journey as a church family, it begins with a heart searching for a genuine encounter with God thru His Son, Jesus Christ. 
  • And it grows from there.
• The journey as a Christian is not without trial and hard times, but it is a journey of joy and peace knowing that as you pursue his presence, pass the torch, possess the land, God will do amazing things through your life.

 
Summary:

• Pursuing His Presence and encountering the presence of God causes our Spirit to rise and overcome the sin in this world and walk into God’s plan for our lives.
