Right Place Right Time

Main Point:  Be at the right place at the right time by protecting your secret place time with God.  Advance without Fear.

Foundation Scripture
Ecclesiastics 9:11.  The blessed things in life don’t happen to the smartest or the riches, it happens to people who are wise enough to be at the right place at the right time.  The world calls this a coincidence but in God’s kingdom it is a God-Incidence.

II Kings 8:1-6.  The woman received a word from the prophet and obeyed and she ended up at the right place at the right time and saw God provide.

Other examples of being at the right place at the right time:

• Peter walked on water
• Joseph saved his family (the journey was not always pleasant but God is with you)
• Miracle of the sign
• Miracle of the donated property to serve a community in need

 
You have to put yourself in a position to hear from God.  

• You don’t have to ‘holy enough’ to hear from God. 
• You just have to be willing to kill your pride and sit and pray, read, and open your heart to his leading.
  • when you gave your heart to the Lord you received a new heart.  Your old heart was leading to sin and pride but your new heart is leading you to care for others, to pray, to read, to be in church, to give faithfully, to pray for someone else, to evangelize the world.   Etc…. 
• That is you new heart, trust that heart.  Your new heart is in line with God’s will.  Your new heart will lead to the right place at the right time.
  • John 10:22-29.  God’s sheep hear his voice. God will speak to you through your new heart.

Sit at feet of Jesus.  Luke 10:38-42.

• Don’t get to busy for Jesus. 
• Stay connected to the vine.  And you will end up at the right place at the right time to see Make sure God is in it. 
• Make sure God is in your decision making process. 
• Make sure God is in your home, make sure God is in your hurts, make sure God is in your joy.

Pastor’s Thoughts:

• When we begin to be obedient to God’s word you will be putting yourself in a position to be at the right place right time
• It is not about being the smartest or riches or best looking.  It is about hearing from God one day at a time and being connected to the vine so that we can be at the right place at the right time.

Summary:  

• God is alive and well and in his perfect timing he will begin to show the worlds his greatness, his glory. 
• Let’s be ready. 
• Let’s be at the right place at the right time by staying close to God in our secret place.
