King Jesus will be Praised-God is Good and Faithful pt2

Main Point:  At HCC, King Jesus will be praised by responding with action.  In 2026, our response to God’s goodness and faithfulness is to take action in prayer, in worship, and in giving.  In obedience, God will provide an overflow according to his will.  Thus, 2026 will be the year of overflow because God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.  HCC family and friends are encouraged to praise King Jesus by responding to his goodness and faithfulness with actions of prayer, worship, and giving.
 
God is good and Faithful

• Psalm 86:5. God is good and forgiving
• Psalms 100:5. God is good and faithful to all generations
• John 3:16. It is love that set the salvation plan for humanity in motion through Jesus Christ

 
Faith without Works is dead:

• James 2:17; 2:26;  Faith without works is not real faith.
• Genuine faith produces actions

 
HCC Praise response to God’s Goodness and Faithfulness

• Prayer.  Philippians 4:6-7
  • 48 hours of prayer (All day prayer meetings every other month starting 1st Saturday in February 2026)
• Worship.  John 4:23-24
  • Monthly sermons teachings on Worshipping God in spirit and in truth.
• Giving.  2 Corinthians 9:7.
  • Financial Assistance Request Form

These 3 distinct actions lay upon a foundation given to us by Jesus.
Matthew 22:35-40.  Love God. Love others.

• Prayer is loving God and loving others when you pray for them
• Worship is loving God
• Giving is loving God, whether giving tithes and offerings or giving unto others in need.
