Revival is in Sight: Part 3

Main Point.  God controls the events and timing of events.  As Christians it is our responsibility to walk in the spirit and be instruments of Love.

Foundation Scripture:  Psalm 135:6. Whatsoever the Lord wills he does in heaven and on earth, and in all deep places.

Pastor’s Thoughts:

• No one person can save the world.  Only Jesus can redeem mankind.
• We keep focused on our relationship with God and to be instruments of love.  Love is everything.

 
Events Controlled by God.

• God is not confused. 
  • It is his will that no one perish, thus revival is in sight.
  • and Jesus will return to rule and reign as King of Kings.
• Show video of peace agreement signed
• All the big events that happen in current events, like a peace agreement in Israel, only God can make it happen according to his perfect timing. 
  • How God is going to make all events happen that leads to the return of King Jesus will be a supernatural miracle beyond our understanding.

God’s word on Jesus’ return

• 1 Thessalonians 5:1-9.  When the world thinks peace and safety has been brought by man, then sudden destruction (tribulation comes).
• Matthew 24:40-46.  No one knows the hour but those with a heart for God will be busy doing God’s work.  Be ready.

Example of Events being controlled by God

• There is nothing the enemy can do to stop God’s plan to save humanity through Jesus Christ
• As a matter of fact when the enemy tries disrupt God’s plan to save humanity God turns evil into his Kingdom purposes
  • For example, the enemy tried to kill Moses to stop God’s people from being freed, and it resulted in Moses growing up in Pharaoh’s house which led to the freedom of his people.  The enemy can’t stop God’s plans
  • For example, the enemy tried to kill baby Jesus, and it resulted in Jesus fleeing to Egypt, fulfilling a prophecy that the Messiah would come out of Egypt.  Matthew 2:15. The enemy can’t stop God’s plans
  • For example, the enemy tried to kill Jesus at calvary, and it resulted in Jesus redeeming the sins for all who believe in his name.  The enemy can’t stop God’s plans.
• The enemy can’t stop God’s plans in your life.  Trust and Obey.

Pastor’s Thoughts:

• We are witnessing the seeds of revival.  The enemy can’t stop it
• We are witnessing God shaping current events.  The enemy can’t stop it.
• The enemy can’t stop God’s plans for your life. 
  • Focus on a close relationship with God in your secret place
  • Focus on true praise and worship of King Jesus
  • Focus on being an instrument of Love to those around you

Summary

• God is in control of prophetic events
• Christians are called to be instruments of Love empowered by the Holy Spirit
• The enemy can’t stop what God is doing
• Revival is in sight
