God Has a Divine Plan

Main Point: God has a divine Plan for you, your family, and the local church.  Walk in it and see the hand of God intervene with signs and wonders.
Definition of Divine:  A proceeding directly from God.

God Uses People to execute his divine plan
  • Joshua 1:1-8.  :  Notice how God’s plan continues without Moses.
  • The people were thinking what we will do now, without Moses.
  • God’s plans are not dependent on one individual.
    • That’s why is in important not to follow man, but follow Jesus Christ thru the leading of the Holy Spirit who will lead us into all truth.
  • Everyone in this place is destined for greatness, if we put Jesus first, if we hunger and thirst for More of God.  We don’t have to be like Moses, Joshua, etc…, be yourself and let God drive…

Pastor’s Thoughts:
  • When Moses died, God’s plan for mankind did not die with him.
  • God’s plan of redemption for mankind continues until this day.  You and I are redeemed because Jesus died so our sins would be washed away by his blood.
  • You are an important part of God’s divine plan of redemption but the plan goes on and on and on.
  • God continues to use flawed people to execute his divine plan of redemption.
  • If he needs to do a sign and a wonder, he will do it.
  • If we pray and cry out to God for a revival, God will hear us and deliver a revival and it will include signs and wonders.  ---We don’t chase signs and wonders but we believe the signs and wonders are part of God’s character.  It is written throughout his Holy Word.

Obedience leads to Godly Divine Plans
  • Joshua 1:8, after God tells Joshua all the amazing things he will do, he gives instructions, he tells him to meditate on the word of God (God’s law) day and night, and when you are obedient to this word/laws, then rest assured thy way will be prosperous and he would have good success.
  • Knowing that God has a divine plan for your life, Will you walk in it?

Choose this Day
  • Joshua 24:14-15, Joshua challenges the people to choose who they will serve.
  • It’s time for the church to say Yes, I choose to follow God’s divine plan.
  • We will not fall for the enemy’s tricks to be complacent or to satisfy for ordinary we want all that God has for us.
  • We hunger and thirst for more of God, and he will fill us with his character, with joy, with peace, with blessings.  Choose this day whom you will serve.

Conclusion:
  • Church, do you believe that God has a divine plan for you.  Do you believe?  I hope everyone in this room can see what I see.  I see everyone one of you being used by God to do extraordinary things.  Are you ready for this?
  • The divine plan God has for you includes signs and wonders.  When you are sold out to God’s divine plan you will encounter the miraculous move of God. (like Jericho walls, red sea, goliath, resurrection, sign, Etc).
  • Not only will you see it but God will use you to bring forth the signs and wonders. (Somebody just heard that and you saw it-you saw it as possible).
  • It is God’s character to miraculously intervene for his people.  We serve a mighty God.
