God is Divine

Main Point:  God is Divine and all knowing.  There is nothing than can stop God from executed his plan to redeem mankind.  We have a free will choice to receive redemption and bring Glory to His name.

Words that describe divine:  all-powerful, all knowing, omnipresent, omniscient admirable ambrosial, beautiful, blissful, excellent, glorious, magnificent, marvelous, omnipotent, sacramental, sacrosanct, splendid, superhuman, supreme.

God is all Knowing and not restricted by time or the decisions of others:

• 2 Peter 3:8-9.  God is not restricted by time.  
  • Trust the Lord is at work in your life regardless of time. 
    • Isaiah 40:31.  Those that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength

• Proverbs 16:33.  Nothing catches God by surprise. God is all knowing.  God is Divine.

God’s Kingdom plan to redeem man is prophesied and no one can stop it.

• Revelations 21:1-7.  God will redeem man and dwell with God forever.  No one can stop it.

Pastor’s Thoughts:

• Over 3,000 years ago, the prophets new that a Messiah was coming to redeem the world from sin and that no one could stop it.
• Now that Jesus, the Messiah has come, we know, because of scripture that Jesus will return for His bride the church and nothing can stop it.

God chooses to use mankind to bring Glory to His name because of Love:

• Ephesians 2:10.  We are created for good works.  Good works that bring Glory to His name
  • The decisions we make to serve or not serve God will never change God’s ultimate plan to redeem mankind that believe in the name of Jesus.
    • But because God loves mankind and it his will that no one perish; God desires that we know him and become instruments for His Glory.
• 1 Peter 5:6-7.  Humble yourself, surrender your will to Gods will, and in due time God will exalt you.
  • Being exalted by God does not mean to be exalted like a God, it means to be exalted as an ambassador of God’s glory.  
  • As we humble ourselves before God, God will anoint and empower us to bring Glory to His name.

Pastor’s Thoughts.

• God doesn’t need mankind to be God.  But God chose to create mankind because of Love.  God is divine and loves us.
• God has given us a free will choice to serve him or to not serve him.
• The decisions we make in this life will never change God’s plan to redeem man.  God is divine.
• But for those who choose to accept Jesus Christ as Savior, you are destined to become a masterpiece for God’s Glory.

Summary:

• God is Divine and all knowing.
• Jesus will return for His bride, the church, and we will dwell with God for ever
• God does not need us but because of Love, he created us to fellowship with him.  God is divine and loves us.
• We have a free will choice, but those who choose to allow Jesus to be Lord of their lives will encounter the supernatural hand of God acting on your behalf.
